Description

Gents Waltham wrist watch, 1931.

The watch has a seven jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 27,500,162 which dates it back to 1931.

The watch measures 30mm wide excluding the winding crown and 30mm high excluding the lugs. The case is 10ct gold filled and was made by the Birmingham case maker Dennison, supplier to Waltham UK. The case is in lovely condition, just a little widening of the joins where the bezel and back have been removed in the past.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
