Pair Royal Worcester ‘Fruit’ Vases, W.bee, Dated 1923.

Description

Pair of Royal Worcester porcelain vases and covers, William ‘Billy’ Bee, dated 1923. Both vases, finely hand painted, with studies of fruit and blossom, on a mossy bank, in circular panels. Enclosed by gilded wreaths, in Art Nouveau style, upon a powder blue ground.

The vases with gilt scroll handles, and surmounted with covers.

Signed – W. Bee.

Printed puce factory marks, date code for 1923, model number 2700.

Height – 22.2 cm, 8 3/4”.

Width – 8 cm, 3 1/8”.

Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
