This is a fine quality antique English Queen Anne style burr walnut nest of coffee tables, comprising three tables, with a serpentine design and inset glass tops, circa 1920, in excellent original condition. They are both practical and decorative coffee tables for any room in the house. The two smaller coffee tables are designed to be safely stored underneath the larger coffee tables, to reduced floor space when not in use. The tops are decorated with burr walnut mirror-matched timers on a solid frame, with the French polish finish protected by glass inset tops. The frame is decorated with a floral leaf carved moulding in a serpentine shape, with a shaped frieze below on all sides. The walnut nest of coffee tables is supported by cabriole legs, incorporating acanthus leaf carvings at the knee, terminating on pad feet.
