The chest of drawers also has its stunning turned pillars either side complete with a fall moulded plinth which all stands on its original 4 turned legs. This ornate tall Scottish chest of drawers is in an outstanding condition featuring its original beautiful French polished finish complete with its lovely warm Mahogany colour. The chest also features the finest quality original turned mahogany knobs with mother of pearl inlays to the centre and brass keyhole escutcheons in front of its original locks (no keys). The finely dovetailed Mahogany lined drawers are in good condition and smoothly operating with little to no drawer drop and are clean inside. We have just carefully cleaned and waxed this chest, maintaining its original patina whilst giving a lovely natural sheen.

Please note; This item is in fantastic condition for its age as shown by the photographs below. Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches and dents, however, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character to a piece.
