Antique Glass Decanter with Silver Collar

1920 - 1940
Description

A good example of an antique glass decanter with sterling silver collar and glass stopper. The bottle itself is heavy and good quality with an unusual 'squashed' design.

The collar is clearly hallmarked for Sheffield, 1935, William Hutton and Sons Limited.

It is in very good condition for its age. The silver is in good condition and there are no cracks or damages to the glass. It has been cleaned and the silver gently polished and overall it displays very well.

Approximate Dimensions

Height : 10 3/4” (27.5 cm)

Base : 5” square (12.5 cm)
