Antique Silver Coin Purse Chatelaine

1900 - 1920
Description

A lovely miniature antique silver coin purse on a silver chain, possibly made to be attached to a lady's chatelaine. It is excellent quality with a clasp and green silk lining. It weighs 45g.

It is hallmarked for Birmingham, 1915 and the maker Horton & Allay.

It is in good condition for its age. There are some general signs of age and use and some small dinks and dents and light surface marks but nothing detrimental and no major damages. It has been cleaned and gently polished and overall it displays very well.

The best description comes from the photographs so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions just ask.
