For your consideration is this rather stylish set of modernist Art Deco Walnut boxes set on their own matching tray. Dating to the 1930's and French in origin this set may have been originally intended as a smokers set or perhaps even tea leaves, herbs or coffee. Either way they make a wonderful ornamental display in their own entity. An unusual and rare find and one we know admirers of this era will appreciate. Condition is very good and without damage. The chrome to the lids is a little dull and has mild surface scratches, this is only noticeable on close inspection and we believe not distracting. Please see images provided for better clarity of condition.
