C19th Chinese glazed stone-ware study of a guardian lion-dog .
Large and decorative red or ‘sang-de-boeuf’ glazed study of a mythical guardian Foo dog with gilded highlights, mounted on it’s original bespoke carved hardwood loose stand . The female lion-dog depicted in an aggressive pose shielding a pup beneath her body.
In excellent original condition with no losses or damage.
