Antique 18th Century Mahogany Bachelors Chest of Drawers with Secret Drawers C1780

Antique 18TH Century Mahogany Bachelors Chest of Drawers with secret drawers and dating from around the time of King George 111 c1780. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a moulded edge to the top with pull out brushing slide and above two small drawers over three long graduating drawers all of which are oak lined with brass handles and key. The top right hand drawer when pulled out reveals three small drawers to the back. The top of which slides forward to reveal a secret drawer ( please see photos). To each side is an architectural column with fine inlay. It is raised on bracket feet.

MEASURES: 34.5” HIGH X 18.5” DEEP X 34.5” WIDE

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
