Description

Gents 1950s Benfre automatic wristwatch.

The watch has a 25-jewel Felsa 1560 automatic movement which is working nicely. The rotor is signed with the name Benfre, a name registered in the mid 1950s by Paul Bishoff of Inter-Ocean Corporation, an American importer.

The watch measures 31.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs so it would suit a slimmer wrist. The case is gold plated and there are patches of wear in places although not too noticeable when the watch is being worn. The screw-on case back is stainless steel, it states that the watch is waterproof although it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, centre seconds and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
