Antique Chinese Carved Quartetto Nest of Tables

A gorgeous and well presented early 20th century antique Chinese carved hardwood quartetto nest of tables. The antique nest of tables all have a beautifully pierced frieze with berries and foliage carvings. Raised on simulated bamboo edges, legs and cross stretchers. The antique quartetto nest of tables fit perfectly within each other when not in use, great for storage purposes. A rather pleasing example, with wonderful colour and craftsmanship throughout. CONDITION REPORT:

In excellent antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related scratches to the table tops (pictured), and fading to the tallest table top (pictured). There is further fading to the legs of all the tables (pictured). There is age-related shrinkage to the top of the tallest table (pictured), however this doesn’t affect the overall integrity of the product. The antique quartetto nest of tables remain structurally solid and sound, with good tight joints. Overall, a great set of occasional tables.
