Description

An Early 19th Century Yew Wood Windsor Arm Chair.

With a hoop back, filled with tapered spindles, centred by an open and fretted back splat. The lower horizontal hoop running to arm rests, the ends supported by ringed and baluster uprights. The hoop likewise filled with spindles and centred by an open and fretted splat. The slightly saddles seat, over ringed and tapered legs, finished with shaped toes, and joined by a crinoline stretcher.

Date circa 1820.
