A good late Victorian Scottish oak cased long case 8 day clock. Arched top with three finials above a silvered arts n craft type dial. Upper subsidiary seconds dial. Very nice condition and working order.

Renown clockmaker ( Jas Dalziel Frazerburgh ).

Jas Mac (James McRae) Dalziel was born on month day 1851, in birth place, to George Dalziel and Clementina Dalziel (born Georgeson). George was born in 1820. Clementina was born in 1823, in Sandness of Walls and Sandness Shetland Isl Scotland. Jas had 5 siblings: Henry Dalziel, Georgina Dalziel and 3 other siblings.
