Superb quality pair french first Empire mahogany elbow chairs with upholstered backs and seats. The bold scroll arms supported on shaped front legs with carved anthemiums to sides.Show-wood frames. Both in very fine un-touched original condition with no breaks or damage. Both are firm. Have been recently re-upholstered and close nailed. Great darkish rich colour with fine waxed patina.

Size; 36" high, 23" wide across arms, 22" deep. Seat height 17.5"
