Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1960s.

This the legendary calibre 89 movement, with Jewels set into gold chatons, Geneva stripe plates with hand beveled edges and seconds friction adjust. Widely regarded as the finest movement ever made and known as the watchmakers watch, as you can see it is in fabulous condition.

The dial is in near mint condition it is totally original it has never been restored or touched. the hands are original as is the fish symbol winding crown, the serrations are crisp and sharp. It has a water resistant stainless steel case measuring 35mm without the winding crown.

As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.
