The stems with ball and baluster tops, before the barley twist columns, tapering outward and downward to a rounded and waisted socle, finished with a wyvern carved collar. The circular bases with dished centres, rising to a rounded moulding before the convex rim, decorated with ball and cup carving, against a stipple ground. The undersides with lead loading, within a metal plate. The plates with makers labels for 'HANSON, MANUFCATURERS& DEALER IN ANCIENT & MODERN FURNITURE, UPHOLSTERER, UNDERTAKER. 16 JOHN STREET, OXFORD STREET'.
