Late 18th Century Boxed Proportional Brass Compass

Description

This proportional brass compass is in its original shark skin case.

The compass is in great condition and has circles and lines inscribed into the brass, I believe this might have been for nautical use.

The shark skin (shagreen) case is in really good condition and fastens with two small hooks and eyes. The inside still has it original fabrics in antique condition.
