Description

Meissen porcelain peacock, c. 1930. The finely modelled bird, having well moulded plumage, hand painted in naturalistic colouring; the tail feathers particularly well painted.

Underglaze blue crossed swords mark, incised and impressed model numbers to the base.

Length – 14 cm, 5 1/2”.

Height – 8.5 cm, 3 1/4”.

Depth – 6 cm, 2 3/8”.

Condition – Excellent. No damage. No restoration.
