Description

Gorgeous Victorian silver earrings in a heart shape with articulated drops at their centres. Each earring is stamped SILVER on the screw and on the back with the kitemark used by the British Design Registry which enables us to date them quite precisely. The stamp shows this design was registered on 1 December 1876 and as the mark was discontinued eight years later we know they must have been made between 1876 and 1884.

The earrings are in very good antique condition with a lovely patina and fully working screws.

Size: The hearts measure approx 1.8cm across, the total drop is 3.8cm.
