Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the 1850s.
The drawers are crafted with the highest skill using fine dovetail construction, the drawers slide in and out effortlessly with little to no drawer wear and are clean inside. As a sign of the cabinet makers craftsmanship, the drawers can be placed into the carcasses upside down and still work perfectly. Each bow fronted drawer retains its original pair of ornately turned Mahogany knobs with no breaks or repairs.

The chests feature solid Mahogany 1 plank tops with a lovely small raised up-stand to the rear and stand proudly on moulded plinths.
These chests look stunning opposing a Georgian bow front chest of drawers in a period themed bedroom or placed either side of a sofa.

These chests are in an outstanding condition featuring their beautiful French polished finish with a lovely warm Mahogany colour and high sheen. These cabinets have been carefully cleaned and waxed making them fully ready for their new home.

Please note; This item is in fantastic condition for its age as shown by the photographs. Being an antique item of this age there are obviously marks, scratches, dents and the odd minor repair here and there. However, we feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character to a piece.
