A nicely shaped late 18thc elm candlebox....it has gained a very good natural colour that elm always goes with age....it has a shaped heart decoration...and later 19thc brass hinges....often the leather hinges wear out...in very good condition considering elm usually gets attacked by worm.
English. C1780-C1800.
