Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
Lifting the top reveals a large stationary compartment which is lockable via its original brass lock and key making it ideal for safely storing laptops and other office stationary/documents. The desk features a lovely deep French polished finish and its original gold tooled brown leather covered writing surface which is in fantastic condition. The desk also has 3 deep smoothly operating drawers on the right side and dummy drawer fronts on the left. 2 of the drawers do have locks, however the key is not present. The desk is also polished on the back enabling this desk to look at home and elegant placed almost anywhere in a room.

We have sympathetically restored this item maintaining original patina by just carefully waxing this item to enhance the French polished surface and preserve it for many years to come.
Please note; This item is in great condition for its age as shown by the photographs, however, being an antique item of this age there may be minor blemishes here and there which we feel adds to its originality and heritage of the piece.

Please note; Items placed on or around the desk are not included in the sale.
