A Charles II period and later, carved dark oak mule chest. This mule chest with solid plank hinged top. Carved triple panel front, over a carved front full width drawer. Panelled sides. Lock and escutcheon. Raised on short through stiles.
This chest presents well and much of it is original, though there''re several elements of a later date and some recent. Cleaned, waxed and ready to use.

This mule chest measures approximately 76 cm (29'') tall, 137 cm (54'') wide, and 58 cm (23'') deep.

Good colour, polish and patina throughout. Some marks and blemishes, in keeping with its age and through use. There are some replacement parts, including some of recent times.
