This antique chocolate mixing bowl which is a large size dates from the 19th century, is made of heavy copper, has a rolled rim, two riveted handles and a round bottom. The handmade folded seam runs around the base and up the side.

The heavy weight and large size makes this a fantastic usable item. Would make a stunning decorative large bowl for a kitchen, handsome wine cooler, decorative log bin or planter.

Dimensions: Diameter including handles: 50.5 cm (15"). Diameter: 42 cm (16 1/2"). Height including handles: 23 cm (9").

Weight: 3.906 kg.

Condition: Wonderful decorative antique condition with signs of wear and use in keeping with age. No holes. Some dents, dings, bumps, scratches, verdigris and patina. The bottom is rounded and is blackened from the heat. The bowl sits on a flat surface but slightly uneven.
