George V Silver & Agate Thimble by James Swann & Son, Birmingham 1913

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a gorgeous George V solid silver thimble with a pale blue agate top. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1913 and bears the marks of James Swann & Son. The lower band fully hallmarked and stamped with size 8, engraved flowerhead decorations to the upper section.

Hallmarks:

JS&S for James Swann & Sons.

Lion Passant.

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Date letter "o" for 1913.

Size number 9.

Dimensions:

Height: 2cm

Diameter: 1.6cm

Condition:

Very good.

Silver thimble in very good condition.

Agate top in good condition.
