Mike Melody Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
In absolutely perfect unrestored condition , very bright .it measures a massive 33cms h 24cms w and 8cms d.
We have found pictures of the same bear in a different colourway in joseph holcroft listings but not as good as this.
The mark is also unusual but as we think this is a "one off" not unusual.
Rare for me to get a piece of majolica I can rave about but this is one!!
