French Napoleon III Crapaud Armchair for Recovering

Description

A French Napoleon III crapaud (toad back) armchair, late 19th century, with spoon shaped back and scroll arms, over a sprung seat and raised on ebonised supports.

I can arrange re-upholstery and supply fabric - please contact me for details.

These chairs are very comfortable and a good size for an occasional chair.

Measurements are 82cm high, 59cm wide at the front of the seat (70cm wide outside arm to outside arm), the seat measures 54cm deep and 31cm high. Castors can be added to the legs at the time of re-covering.
