Rare 18thc South Wales Elm Pot Board Dresser Base .

19th century
Description

From a home in camarthenshire a really unusual and rare solid elm potboard dresser base .

A classic dresser in a wonderful wood (look at the grain!)

The colour of the elm is as expected a rich mellow light tan patina.

Dating from around 1800 this super dresser base is in immaculate well used condition.

It measures 166cms long 83cms high and 44cms deep

The handles are original ,an added bonus.

These potboards look great in many areas of the home from a rustic kitchen to a sophisticated hallway .period pot boards are always relatively slender.
