19th Century Mahogany Side Cabinet, Serpentine Top
 
The top with moulded round edge, featuring a serpentine shaped front, which overhangs the scroll carved and reeded escutcheons to either side of the single frieze drawer.
 
The drawer with raised moulding around the front panel, and fitted with a central locking mechanism with key, surrounded with further raised carved detail, above a rounded edge dissecting beam, separating the drawer from the single cupboard door below.
 
The door with a charming shaped central panel, and fitted with a brass hinged handle, opening to reveal a single shelf, with fixed rails for adjustable height.
 
Sitting on four scrolling, carved feet.
