As Part of our Japanese works of art collection we are delighted to offer this fine Edo/Meiji period shakudo and mixed metal tsuba of mokko form , the tsuba finely worked with a nanako stippled ground and depicts a gold Shi Shi dog beneath a silver waterfall amidst flora and insects , the rear depicts flora aside the flowing river, the scene worked in soft alloys including gold, silver and shibuichi, another fine quality tsuba from a single owner collection.
