A Four Glass Mantel Clock

Description

A French brass cased four glass mantel clock. Bevelled glass panels with opening front and rear doors. An enamel dial with blued steel hands. A visible escapement to the dial and signed by retailer 'R Scott, Leeds & Paris'. A mercury compensating pendulum. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong by Marti of Paris. Circa 1890.
