Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Leeds creamware refers to a refined, lightweight earthenware produced in Yorkshire during the 18th and 19th centuries, characteristically finished with a clear lead glaze over a cream-coloured ceramic body.

These ceramics were crafted from refined clays mixed with calcined flint, press-moulded into shape, bisquet fired, and subsequently decorated with hand-painted enamel pigments before or after glazing.

Authentic pieces generally exhibit a remarkably lightweight structure, a pale cream lead glaze that pools with a faint greenish hue in crevices, hand-moulded rim details, and subtle hand-enamelled decoration.

Arranging these plates on plate stands across a sideboard top or mounting them in a gallery wall format within a traditional dining room creates a compelling focal point.

Clean gently using lukewarm water and mild soap applied with a soft cloth, avoiding abrasive pads, chemical cleaners, or submersion that could compromise early enamel work.
