The large dial is porcelain enamel on copper with beautifully cut gilt hands. It is signed in homage to the 18th century clockmaker Hardel of Paris. The bezel is fitted with convex glass.

The French movement is of high quality and is by Planchon of Paris. It is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is a original.
