Mid C18th early George III period mahogany chest of drawers. Lancashire regional design mahogany chest of 2 short and 3 long graduated �cock-beaded� edge drawers , with architectural reeded quarter column corner uprights. Retaining all it�s original brass-ware , having �swans-neck� handles and raised on bracket feet. Of good scale and proportions having achieved a wonderful colour and patina to the superior grade of selected mahogany .In excellent original condition throughout with boarded backboards and all original blocks to underside of feet .The figured top with some minor historic marks and stains but crucially with its original surface and �skin� . Has been sympathetically cleaned and waxed in our workshops, ready for use .
