A very fine example in elm, of an early 19thc dairy bowl, standing on a raised flared base...it has gained a very good colour, as elm always does with years of constant use....these collectable bowls , would have been used in the farmhouse / manor house kitchen and also as a centre piece on a grand table to elevate the fruit or cheese....it is in very good condition.
