This magnificent Solid silver coffee pot is beautifully ornamented in the Burmese Indian style.
The repoussé and chased decoration includes scenes from the Ramayana or Burmese folklore surrounded by further figural and floral imagery amongst dense scrollwork.
The handle is cast in the shape of a mythical beast and the finial of the lid is cast in the form of a female figure, while the spout takes the form of a naga-like creature.
