The gems are set in a striking setting, with trefoil claws an ornate carved detailing in the shoulders. A true treasure.

Accompanied by a report from Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) stating the sapphires shows no indication of heating, and are Sri Lankan (Ceylon) in origin.
Cut – Oval cuts.
Clarity – Some inclusion are visible in the centre stone (although not obviously so when the ring is on the finger). The outer sapphires are eye-clean.

Carat – The very conservative estimated weights of the sapphires is 1.10 carat, 2.oo carat, and 1.60 carat; 4.70ct total.
Circa – 1900.
Size – K 1/2 (UK) or 5 3/8 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Measurements – From the edge of one outer sapphire to the other is 17.2mm. The ring is 10.4mm at the widest point and sits 4.4mm from the finger.
Metal – 18k gold. Stamped and tested.
