Below the fall front is an arrangement of four graduating drawers, each with decorative brass backplates and drop handles. To the top is a single door glazed cabinet, which opens to reveal a blue painted interior consisting of two shelves. The walnut bureau bookcase separates into two parts at the mid section for ease of transport. A particularly pleasing example, with rich colour and grain detail throughout.
