Description

Walnut & Bergere Table or Dressing Stool - Stunning Condition - c1900

This lovely X-framed Walnut & Bergere piece is wonderfully presented and an excellent example.

The Walnut frame pleasing colour and the burr perimeter at the upper level displays beautifully. The bergere is in perfect order.

Below the upper frame the piece rides over stunning shaped and carved legs which terminate with a ball foot. These are tied by a gorgeous sweeping X-frame stretcher with a turned finial to the centre.

Overall a very lovely, superbly crafted and unusual piece of furniture. A rare find that will delight for years to come.
