A very fine early Victorian silver meat skewer, a good sized solid item in wonderful antique condition. Simply and classically shaped with a circular ring at the end, a tapered shaft and a good sharp point. Clearly hallmarked for London 1842, with the lion passant mark for sterling silver and makers marks for John & Henry Lias.
A lovely usable antique item for the keen chef.
