Antique Early Metalware 18thc Brass Muffineer / Shaker Of Unusual Shape. English C1760-70.

Sold by: Mark Seabrook Antiques

I was really pleased to buy this fine example of a mid 18thc brass muffineer, sometimes called shaker...as it is not your normal shape you find and is quite a bold example....these were used in the manor / farmhouse kitchen to sprinkle the more coarsely ground flour, salt and pepper....hence the holes being quite large....in excellent condition and from the collection of the much missed Andrew Crawforth.

English. C1760-70
