Antique William 1v Cuban Mahogany Chaise Longue C1830

Antique William 1V Cuban Mahogany Chaise Longue and dating from around 1830. Constructed from quality mahogany it has a serpentine shaped upholstered backrest with mahogany frame carved with acanthus leaf and leading to a deep stuff over seat with moulded mahogany skirt. It has a deeply scrolled and upholstered side arm with scrolled and carved front support leading to turned bulbous legs on castors. At the opposite end of the sofa is a carved cartouche.It has a separate matching rolled cushion and is covered in a quality damask fabric.

With a lovely deep colour and patination and oozing all the charm and character of the period. Our furniture is cleaned and polished using traditional waxing methods.
