Antique Victorian Pine Bedding Box / Blanket Box
This beautiful Antique Victorian Pine Bedding Box / Blanket Box dates from ca. 1890 and comes with lovely genuine charm and character. It has a rectangular hinged lid opening to reveal a spacious interior with small drawer (originally used to store candles) and white porcelain handle. This lovely old chest has carrying handles to the sides and stands on shaped bracket feet. The pine has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wood wax finishing.
