Georgian Oak Candle Box Circa 1790

18th century
Description

Superb George III oak hanging candle box with slide up front. Finely inlaid with ebony lines in geometric design and with narrow walnut banding. Lovely shaped hanging bracket at top. All in stunning un-touched original condition with hardly a blemish. Great deep honey colour with super waxed patina. A very fine example.

Size; 18" high overall, 5,5" wide, 4" deep.
