Description

A French striking carriage clock. An enamel dial with blued steel 'moon' hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. A lever escapement visible through the oval top glass. An earlier example with a sound fretted base panel. A serial number of 3100. Circa 1880.
