A fine French striking carriage clock by noted maker Henri Jacot. An enamel dial with blued steel hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Push button repeating. The original corresponding numbered carrying box. The original lever escapement. A serial number of 5476. Circa. 1880.
