Description

Pair of Staffordshire pottery figures, c. 1850, Thomas Parr factory. Modelled as the Royal Children, seated astride goats, on grassy mound bases. The goats painted in orange and black enamel, and having encrusted clay detail, as fur.

Single gilt lines to the bases.

Height - 18.5 cm, 7 1/4”.

Length - 13 cm, 5 1/8”.

Depth - 6 cm, 2 3/8”.

Condition - Good quality restoration to both necks of the children - please see images for detail.
