A name synonymous with quality, here is a beautiful Mappin and Webb cut crystal and silver plated ice bucket or biscuit and sweet jar (if you prefer!)
Made around the 1930’s this beautiful cut glass jar is effortlessly stylish and would look fabulous in any home whether modern or more traditional.
The jar stands 15cm tall to the top of the finial on the lid, and is 16cm wide, and is in excellent condition with no chips, and the silver still bright and shiny, there is a tiny bubble in the glass, but this is barely visible, and dates from the time of manufacture. The neck of the bowl is stamped, and has a date mark of ‘p’, which on research indicated an early 20th century time for manufacture.
