Grand Tour Bronzes Of Temples In Rome

£900    $1,181    €1,075
Attractive pair of mid scale late 19th century patinated bronze Grand Tour souvenir cabinet models of the Temple of Castor and Pollox and the Temple of Vespasian and Titus after the originals in the Forum Romanum in Rome. Nice patination with a slight verdigris archaeological Pompean style patination which works perfectly with the Verde Antico marble block bases. Possibly a matched pair. Italy, circa 1890.

Temple of Castor and Pollox: H 13.75cm x W 7cm x D 4cm

Temple of Vespasian: H 13.5cm x W 5.5cm x D 5.5cm
