Andrew Cox Antiques has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The lid is hinged and decorated with exquisite Cloisonné enamel, in reds, blues and greens. Cloisonné is a technique where formed wires in closed shapes are affixed onto a base and then filled with enamel. The wires form raised partitions surrounding these individual cells. As can be seen here, it creates a wonderful and attractive display. A lovely collectors item, still usable today. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no dents or splits. No damage to the enamel. The mirror has age related foxing.
